Belly dancing is the perfect idea for your Hen party or bridal shower. Belly dance is for all ages, shapes, and sizes - everyone can get involved and it's heaps of fun! A belly dance class is a great way to begin your Hens party before heading out to dinner or hitting the club dance floor with your new belly dance moves! Or, if you're planning a quiet event at home or another venue, we can come to you.

How does it work? You can come to us at our professional dance studio in Wollongong or we can come to you. A professional belly dancer will provide a 1 hour belly dance class where you'll learn to 'shimmy', 'camel', 'drop', and 'pop' like a belly dancer! Then we put it all together into an easy and fun dance that everyone can enjoy. At the conclusion of your class your belly dance instructor will dazzle your guests with a short belly dance performance.

Q: What is the price for this package?
A: This package is $20 per person, based on a 10 person minimum. If we come to you there may be travel costs incurred. Half of the total fee must be paid at least two weeks before the event. The balance is due the day of the party.

Q: How long does it go for?
A: All of our dancing sessions go for up to an hour.

Q: What if I have less than 10 guests?           
A: Smaller groups are fine; however the cost per person would be adjusted to make up the cost of the 10 person minimum (eg. For 9 women the cost per person would be approx $22).

Q: What about group sizes, do you have a limit?
A: We can run parties for 4 or 40! We comfortably fit up to 40 women in our studio.  If you have a larger group you may wish to hire a function room and we can come to you.

Q: When can I schedule my party?
A: Party days and times are negotiable with Virginia. We will work out a time that suits you and us. Yes, we can even accommodate your party on a Sunday!

Q: Can children come along?
A: Yes! Belly dancing is an inclusive dance for all ages, you are welcome to bring kids if you wish.

Q: Can we bring food to the studio?
A:  No, sorry. We don't allow food in the studio.

Q: Can we bring alcohol to the studio?
A: Yes, of course! But please no glassware, plastic only. You are responsible for removal of all rubbish created from your party.

Q: Can we organise a class for other events besides a hen's party?
A:  Yes, of course! We regularly run the same belly dance party for other events like birthday parties, girls-night-in charities, or if you have a group of friends who simply want to try something fun and different.

Q: What should I wear?
A:  You can wear whatever you like! You are welcome to dress yourselves or your Hen Arabian style (or we can take care of that!) You can come comfy, glamorous, or dance-diva it’s up to you. Our only stipulation is that all footwear must be removed on entering the dance studio.
